Network connection with the NV-DVR404/CD digital recorder
Foreword
The NV-DVR404/CD digital recorder allows for connection with computer network via the TCP/IP protocol. The connection is executed via the dedicated software - N-Viewer 400.
One user can connect with the recorder in the live mode and in the playback mode, watching various cameras and screen divisions.
Hardware requirements
- Intel® Pentium® 1GHz (or faster) CPU
- 128MB RAM
Other requirements:
- Graphic card, AGP x 4, 16MB
- Microsoft® Windows® 2000 / XP™ operation system
Download the N-Viewer 400 software
Attention: If any previous version of this software had been installed on your computer, it should be uninstalled prior to installing the new version.
Establishing connection
In order to establish connection, start the N-Viewer 400 application and press the SETTING button to fill in the fields of the form:
NAME - connection name (any string of signs, for example: NOVUS demo)
ADDRESS - 83.14.221.202
PORT - 50001
USER ID - admin
PASSWORD - admin
The settings must be confirmed with the Save button. From among the defined connections, the only active connection is the one the settings of which are visible on the screen. In order to change the active connection, its name should be clicked with the mouse coursor twice.
At the end, click the the OK button.
To activate the connection, the button CONNECT
should be clicked.
After a moment, camera pictures should appear in the N-Viewer 400 software window:
