Network connection with the help of the DVR Net software
Foreword
The NOVUS PDA NET software allows for the following actions to be taken from the level of a PDA device:
- Network connection with the NOVUS DVR SYSTEM software for NOVUS A, B and MPG series capture cards in any recording resolution.
- Remote, real-time monitoring with speed dependent on the network connection and the capture card model utilized.
- Remote playback of video material recorded by means of the NOVUS DVR SYSTEM software.
- Remote speed dome camera control (pan, tilt, focus, zoom).

For reasons of incompatibility with the NOVUS PDA NET software, the following cannot be used:
- devices based on CPUs other than Intel PXA, Samsung ARM and TI OMAP
- mobile devices and mobile phones utilizing the following operational systems Symbian,
Linux, Palm OS and other than the listed in the above table
Microsoft ActiveSync software installation:
NOVUS PDA NET software installation requires a PC computer with the free Microsoft ActiveSync software installed (available together with the device or to be downloaded from the website of Microsoft Corporation - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/activesync/activesync45.mspx). Additionally, a connection between the PC computer and the PDA device is required - through the COM or USB port.
NOVUS PDA NET software installation is done on a PC computer but the ActiveSync software will facilitate the transfer of appropriate software files to the PDA device.

NOTE!
Before attempting to install the NOVUS PDA NET software, the ActiveSync software should be installed and the PDA device connected to the PC via the COM or USB ports.
To start the installation process, click on the file PDA-Net.exe
The installer application will install the software on the PDA device.
After successful completion of the installation process, a shortcut to the PDA-NET application will appear in the folder "Programs" of the PDA device.
Before starting the NOVUS PDA NET application, network connection of the PDA device should be checked, for example by connecting with any website..

After giving the user and site data, login should be selected
Select the screen division into 1 or 4, as indicated on the screen in red,
To view live images, select camera number or camera group number with the +/- buttons marked with green and click on the Live button.
