The new version 6.03.032 of the NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC software is now available.
Below is a list of improvements and changes introduced in this version:
A Device Tree tool has been added – the tool is placed on the panel and displays a list of all CCTV devices added to the system. It allows the creation of new video views directly from the panel by dragging video channels or entire devices into the Video tool window.
It is now possible to drag items from the Synoptic Board tool into the Video tool on the CCTV panel. This allows new video views to be created directly from the panel.
Report generation from recorders of the 4000, 6000 series and NMS VSS is now available. Reports include the following information: IP address, disk status, total recording time, recording range, time difference on the device (compared to the server that generated the report), and software/firmware version.
A button has been added in the Operations tab that allows access to device configuration via a web browser.
A new on-demand CCTV device connection feature has been added.
The access card removal mechanism has been improved.
The user access level assignment functionality has been enhanced.
System performance has been improved when handling a large number of NOVUS 4000 series recorders.
System responsiveness has been optimized when managing a high number of devices and complex configurations.
RCP functionalities have been enhanced – night shift mode, attendance list behavior, correct working time calculation, correct generation of workday summary emails, and compensatory time input.
The automatic backup creation feature has been improved.
The database overflow protection mechanism has been optimized.
The method of connecting to Satel alarm panels has been modified (authentication now uses the administrator code).
Device tree display has been improved.
Support for single-stream CCTV devices has been added (enabling, for example, bidirectional audio communication with Zenitel ELSII-10LHM, ELSII-10HM speakers).
